摘要
Wireraceballbearingshavebeenwidelyusedinhigh-techweapons.Thepreloadofawireraceballbearingiscrucialinengineeringapplications.Inthisstudy,amoreeffectiveapproachisproposedforexactdeterminationofthewireraceballbearingpreload.Anewmathematicalmodelofthepreloadandthestartingtorqueofthewireraceballbearingwasbuiltusingthetheoremofthe3Drollingfrictionresistanceandthenon-conformingcontacttheory.Employingawireraceballbearingwitha1000mmdiameterusedinaspecifictypeofaircraftsimulatingrotarytable,thenumericalanalysisinMATLAB~showedthatthepreloadmagnitudecanbecontrolledintherangeof130–140μm.Asverification,theexperimentalresultswereinagreementwiththetheoreticalresults,andconfirmthefeasibilityofthismethod.Thisnewapproachismoreexactinthepreloadrangeof10–158μmthanthatcomputedbythenumericalmethodreportedinourpreviouswork(Shanetal.,2007b).Thisimpliesthatthepresentmethodcontributestomoreeffectivelypreventingrollingnoise,overturningmomentsandwearofthewireraceballbearing.Thecurrentresearchprovidescriticaltechnicalsupportfortheengineeringapplicationofwireraceballbearingswithlargediameters.
