摘要 Wereportonthedesignandperformanceofafiberlasersystemwithadaptiveacousto-opticmacropulsecontrolforanovelphotocathodelaserdriverwith3Dellipsoidalpulseshaping.Thelasersystemincorporatesathreestagefiberamplifierwithanintegratedacousto-opticalmodulator.Adigitalelectroniccontrolsystemwithfeedbackcombinesthefunctionsofthearbitrarymicropulseselectionandmodulationresultinginmacropulseenvelopeprofiling.Asabenefit,anarrowtemporaltransparencywindowofthemodulator,comparabletoalaserpulserepetitionperiod,effectivelyimprovestemporalcontrast.Inexperiments,wedemonstratedrectangularlaserpulsetrainprofilingattheoutputofathree-cascadeYb-dopedfiberamplifier.
