摘要 Thenumericalsolutionoflargescalemulti-dimensionalconvectiondiffusionequationsoftenrequiresefficientparallelalgorithms.Inthiswork,weconsidertheextensionofarecentlyproposednon-overlappingdomaindecompositionmethodfortwodimensionaltimedependentconvectiondiffusionequationswithvariablecoefficients.Bycombiningpredictor-correctortechnique,modifiedupwinddifferenceswithexplicitimplicitcoupling,themethodunderconsiderationprovidesintrinsicparallelismwhilemaintaininggoodstabilityandaccuracy.Moreover,formulti-dimensionalproblems,themethodcanbereadilyimplementedonamulti-processorsystemanddoesnothavethelimitationonthechoiceofsubdomainsrequiredbysomeothersimilarpredictor-correctororstabilizedschemes.Thesepropertiesofthemethodaredemonstratedinthisworkthroughbothrigorousmathematicalanalysisandnumericalexperiments.
