摘要 Theaimofthispaperistoevaluatetheeffectsofuncertain-but-boundedparametersonthedynamicresponseofstructures.Bycombiningtheintervalmathematicsandthefiniteelementanalysis,themassmatrix,dampingmatrix,stiffnessmatrixandtheexternalloadsarerepresentedasintervalmatricesandvector.Withthehelpoftheoptimizationtheory,wepresentthevertexsolutiontheoremfordeterminingboththeexactupperboundsormaximumvaluesandtheexactlowerboundsorminimumvaluesofthedynamicresponseofstructures,inwhichtheseparametersreachtheirextremevaluesontheboundaryoftheintervalmass,damping,stiffnessmatricesandtheintervalexternalloadsvector.Threeexamplesareusedtoillustratethecomputationalaspectsofthepresentedvertexsolutiontheorem.
