摘要 Inordertoevaluatethevalidityofcommonlyusedformulaedescribingerosionanddepositionofcohesivesedimentsfortheirapplicationwithinnumericalsimulations,acombinedexperimentalandnumericalinvestigationiscarriedout.Anannularflumeisusedforexperimentsonerosionanddepositionofreservoirmuds.Theresultsoftheseexperimentsserveasvalidationdatafortheformulaeinconsideration.Forthisvalidation,theexperimentsarereproducedwithinanumericalsimulation,whichconsistsoftwoparts:Inafirststep,theflowintheannularflumeissimulatedwithina3Dlargeeddysimulation.Theflowfieldsobtainedinthesesimulationsthenserveasinputforthesecondstep,adecoupled2DVsimulationoferosionanddepositionprocessesduringtheexperiments.TheinvestigatedformulaearethoseofPartheniadesandParchure&MehtaconcerningerosionandofKroneandRichardson&Zakiconcerningdeposition.
