摘要 Thispaperintroducesanoveltechniqueforobjectdetectionusinggeneticalgorithmsandmorphologicalprocessing.Themethodemploysakindofobjectorientedstructureelement,whichisderivedbygeneticalgorithms.Thepopulationofmorphologicalfiltersisiterativelyevaluatedaccordingtoastatisticalperformanceindexcorrespondingtoobjectextractionability,andevolvesintoanoptimalstructuringelementusingtheevolutionprinciplesofgeneticsearch.Experimentalresultsofroadextractionfromhighresolutionsatelliteimagesarepresentedtoillustratethemeritandfeasibilityoftheproposedmethod.
