Mobilenewsappshaveemergedasasignificantmeansforlearningaboutlatestnewsandtrends.However,inlightofnumerousnewsappsandinformationoverload,motivatinguserstoadoptoneappisamajorconcernforboththeindustryandacademia.Therefore,consideringtheattributesofmobilenewsandthedebateonswitchingcostsintheInternetcontext,basedontheexpectation-confirmationmodel(ECM),thisstudysuggeststhatswitchingcostsstillexistandhaveasignificantmoderatingeffectonusersatisfactionandcontinuoususageofmobilenewsapps.Furthermore,thedifferentinfluencesofinformationquality,systemqualityandservicequalityoncontinuanceintention,usersatisfactionandswitchingcostsarediscussed,showingthatqualityofinformationhasasignificantimpactonusers’continuoususageofmobilenewsappsthroughincreasingperceivedusefulness,whereaspersonalizedservicequalityhavestrongereffectsthroughincreasingusersatisfactionandswitchingcosts.
