摘要
Thispaperdiscussesintegratedproductandproductiondatamanagementforassembly-to-orderproduction,whichischaracterizedbyalargenumberofproductandprocessvarieties.Adatastructure,calledBill-of-Materials-and-Assemblies(BOMA),isproposedforthepurposeofunifyingBOMandassemblyroutingdatainordertoaccommodateawiderangeofproductvariabilityandproductionvariations.AgenericBOMAconceptisputforwardtodealwithvarietyeffectively.AprototypesystemoftheproposedgenericBOMAisimplementedusingobject-orientedmodeling.
