摘要
Hearinglossisoneofthemostfrequenthealthissuesinindustrializedcountries.Thepathogenesisandmolecularmechanismsofhearinglossarestillunclear.Histonedeacetylases(HDACs)areemergingaskeyenzymesinmanyphysiologicalprocesses,includingchromatinremodeling,regulationoftranscription,DNArepair,metabolism,genomestabilityandproteinsecretion.RecentstudiesindicatedthatHDACsareassociatedwiththedevelopmentandprogressionofhearingloss.DysfunctionofHDACscouldpromotetheoxidativestressandagingintheinnerear.Inlightofconsideringthecurrentstagnationinthedevelopmentoftherapeuticoptions,theneedfornewstrategiesinthetreatmentofhearinglosshasneverbeensopressing.Inthisreview,wewillsummarizethereportedliteraturesforHDACsinhearinglossanddiscusshowHDACfamilymembersshowdifferentperformancesforthepossibilityofprocessofdiseasesdevelopment.Thepossibilityofpharmacologicalinterventiononhearinglossopensanovelpathinthetreatmentofhearingloss.
