Nonlinear optical performance of few-layer molybdenum diselenide as a slow-saturablea bsorber

    摘要 Two-dimensionaltransitionmetaldichalcogenidesareconsideredpromisingmaterialsfornext-generationphotonicsandnano-opticaldevices.Althoughmanypreviousreportshaveshownsaturableabsorptionofmolybdenumdiselenide(MoSe2),thesenonlinearoptical(NLO)propertiesofMoSe2weremeasuredinseparateworksandunderdifferentconditionswiththeirhot-carrierrelaxations.Here,weconductedaseriesofcoherentstudiesontheNLOpropertiesoffew-layerMoSe2viaopen-apertureZ-scananddegeneratepump-probetech-niques.Thesemeasurementsweretakentotestthematerials'capabilitiesasaslow-saturableabsorber.Aslow-absorbermodelwasemployedtoanalyzetheNLOmeasurements,andtheresultsshowthattheNLOmodulationdepthwasmodeledtobe7.4%and15.1%forthelinearabsorptioncoefficientsof5.22cm^-1and6.51cm^-1,respectively.Thecorrespondingsaturatedintensitiesweremodeledtobe39.37MW/cm^2and234.75MW/cm^2,pectively.Theexcitationcarrierrecoverytimeoffew-layerMoSe2wasmeasuredtechniquestobeN220ps.Thesenonlinearopticalperformancesmakeitapromisingpassivemodelockinginfemtosecondlasers.degeneratepump-probeslow-saturableabsorberforpassivemodelockinginfemtosecondlasers.
