Theharmonicdriveisakindofgeartransmissionthatuseswavegeneratortoproducecontrollablesoftroundelasticdeformationandengageswithrigidgeartotransmitmotionandpower.Theloaddistributiononthesurfaceoftheflexiblegearandwavegeneratorisanimportantparameterofstudyingthedeformationofflexiblegearandflexiblebearingoutsidethewavegeneratorandisalsoanecessaryconditionforstudyingthefatiguedamageofflexiblegearunderalternatingload.Inthispaper,a3Dmodelof32-type80:1harmonicdriveisbuild.BasedonthegeneralizedHookelaw,ahypothesisofloaddistributionwhichisprovedtobevaliditybyusingfiniteelementsimulationisproposedontheinterfaceofflexiblegearandwavegenerator.Onthisbase,themathematicmodelandthequantitativecalculationformulaoftheloaddistributiononthesurfaceoftheflexiblegearandwavegeneratorareproposedwhichprovideabasisforthedynamicanalysisandthefatiguedamageofharmonicgeardrive.
