摘要
Inphysicalmodeltestsforhighlyreflectivestructures,oneoftenencountersaproblemofmultiplereflectionsbetweenthereflectivestructuresandthewavemaker.Absorbingwavemakerscancancelthere-reflectivewavesbyadjustingthepaddlemotion.Inthispaper,weproposeamethodtodesignthecontrollerofthe2-Dabsorbingwavemakersysteminthewaveflume.Basedonthefirst-orderwavemakertheory,afrequencydomainabsorptiontransferfunctionisderived.Itstimerealizationcanbeobtainedbydesigninganinfiniteimpulseresponse(IIR)digitalfilter,whichisexpectedtoapproximatetheabsorptiontransferfunctionintheleastsquaressense.AcommonlyusedapproachtodeterminetheparametersoftheIIRfilterisapplyingtheTaylorexpansiontolinearizethefilterformulationandsolvingthelinearleast-squaresproblem.However,theresultisnotoptimalbecausethelinearizationchangestheoriginalobjectivefunction.Toimprovetheapproximationperformance,weproposeaniterativereweightedleast-squares(IRLS)algorithmanddemonstratethatwiththefiltersdesignedbythisalgorithm,theapproximationerrorscanbereduced.Physicalexperimentsarecarriedoutwiththedesignedcontroller.Theresultsshowthatthesystemperformswellforbothregularandirregularwaves.
