摘要 Chinaisanimportantcountryinironandsteelindustry.Powerelectronicsconvertersarewidelyused.Forthecoldrollingmillsofhighspeed,AC-DC-ACconvertersshouldbeused.Inthepaper,thedesignandthecontrolsystemofthelargepowerthree-levelAC-DC-ACconverterwithIGCTsisinvestigated,andaback-to-backlargepowerthree-levelAC-DC-ACconverterwithIGCTshasbeengot.Withaseriesexperiments,theperformanceoftheconverterisexamined.Theexperimentresultindicatestheconverterreachesthedesignrequirementanditshowsexcellentperformance.Theconvertersystemhasbeenputintousesafely.ItisestimatedthattheAC-DC-ACconvertersystemwillbeusedinthedrivesystemsforrollingmillsinthenearfuture.
