摘要
Acomparativestudyoftheneedle-to-liquidplasmainthecontinuousmodewithDCandACexcitationsisdetailedinthispaper.Allplasmasstudiedhereareshowntobeglowdischarges.Thisstudyisbasedonmeasurementsofseveralkeyparameters,includingelectricalenergy,opticalemissionintensitiesofactivespecies,rotationalandvibrationaltemperatures,andtemperaturesoftheneedleandliquidelectrodes.ACplasmascanproduce1.2～5timeshigherexcitedstateactivespeciesthanDCplasmasunderthesamedissipatedpower.ACexcitedliquidplasmashavethehighestenergyutilizationefficiencyamongthethreesystems(ACexcitedplasmas,DCexcitedplasmaswithwateranodeandDCexcitedplasmaswithwatercathode);mostoftheenergyisusedtoproduceusefulspeciesratherthantoheattheelectrodesandplasmas.
