Fast analysis of thiocyanate by ion-pair chromatography with direct conductivity detection on a monolithic column

    摘要 Fastanalysisofthiocyanatebyion-pairchromatographyusingasilica-basedmonolithiccolumnanddirectconductivitydetectionwascarriedout.ChromatographicseparationwasperformedonaChromolithSpeedRODRP-18eusingtetrabutylammoniumhydroxide(TBA)–phthalicacid–acetonitrileaseluent.Theeffectsofeluentconcentration,eluentpHvalue,columntemperatureandflowrateonretentiontimeofthiocyanatewereinvestigated.Theoptimizedchromatographicconditionsforthedeterminationofthiocyanatewereasfollows:0.25mmol/LTBA–0.18mmol/Lphthalate–7%acetonitrile(pH5.5)aseluent,columntemperatureof308C,andflowrateof6.0mL/min.Retentiontimeofthiocyanatewaslessthan1minundertheconditions.Commonanions(Clà,NO3à,SO42àandIà)didnotinterferewiththedeterminationofthiocyanate.Detectionlimit(S/N=3)ofthiocyanatewas0.96mg/L.Calibrationgraphbetweenpeakareaandtheconcentrationofthiocyanatewaslinearintherangeof2.0–100.0mg/L.Relativestandarddeviation(RSD)ofchromatographicpeakareawas1.4%(n=5).Thismethodhasbeenappliedtothedeterminationofthiocyanateinionicliquids.Recoveriesofthiocyanateafterspikingwere100.5%.
