HYDROGEN-BONDING INDUCED CHANGE OF CRYSTALLIZATION BEHAVIOR OF POLY(BUTYLENE SUCCINATE) IN ITS MIXTURES WITH BISPHENOL A

    摘要 Inthepresentwork,theblendofpoly(butylenesuccinate)(PBS)andbisphenolA(BPA)waspreparedbysolutionmixing,andtheintermolecularinteractionsbetweenthetwocomponentswerecharacterizedbyacombinationofnuclearmagneticresonance(NMR)andFouriertransforminfraredspectroscopy(FTIR).Theresultsshowedthatintermolecularhydrogen-bondingformsbetweenthecarbonylgroupofPBSandphenolhydroxylofBPA.WiththeincreaseofBPAcontent,morehydrogenbondswereformed.TheeffectofhydrogenbondingonthecrystallizationbehaviorofPBSwasinvestigatedbydifferentialscanningcalorimetry(DSC)andpolarizedopticalmicroscopy(POM).TheresultsshowedthattheoverallisothermalcrystallizationkineticsandthespherulitegrowthrateofPBSdecreasewiththeincreaseofBPAcontent,whilethePBSspherulitesizeincreaseswithBPAcontent.
