Modeling Microstructural Evolution under the Influence of Thermosolutal Convection during Ingot Solidification Process

    摘要 Amodelcombinedbothmacroscopictransportandmicrostructuralevolutionisappliedtodescribetheinfluenceofthermosolutalconvectiononmicrostructuralevolutionduringthesolidificationprocess.Firstly,thevolumeaveragemethodandSimpleralgorithmareusedtosolvethemacroscopictransportequation.Thenthecalculatedresultsareincorporatedintothecellularautomaton(CA)modeltosimulatethemicrostructuralevolution.Usingthismodel,asimplecastingingotisappliedtosimulatemicrostructuralevolution.Throughthesimulation,itisfoundthatthethermosolutalconvectionhasastronginfluenceontheredistributionoftemperaturefieldandsolutefield,whichinfluencethesolidificationmicrostructuralevolution.
