    摘要 ResearchonthelargescalespatialheterogeneityofgreatintraplateshallowearthquakesontheChinesemainlandandadjacentareasdiscussedinthispapershowsthat(1)therearefourmainhighseismicityareas:theNorthChinaseismicareaintheeasternpartofChina(30°-42°N),theSoutheasternCoastseismicareaintheeasternpartofChina(19°-25°N),theNorth-SouthseismicareainthewesternpartofChinaanditsadjacentareas(Burma-China-Mongolia),andtheCentralAsianseismicareainthewesternpartofChinaanditsadjacentareas(Pamir-TianshanMountains-Baikal);(2)thefourintraplateseismicareasthatareapproximatelyperpendiculartothosesectionsoftheEurasiaplateboundarythatsurroundstheChinesemainlandanditsadjacentareas,wheretheEurasiaplatehasastrongseismiccouplingwiththeNorthAmerica-PacificOcean-PhilippineSeaplateandtheIndiaplate;and(3)thelargescalespatialheterogeneityofintraplateseismicityinChinaanditsadjacentareasthatmightbecontrol
