摘要
Asoneofthenextgenerationimagingspectrometers,theinterferentialspectrometer(IS)possessestheadvantagesofhighthroughput,multi-channelandgreatresolution.ThedataofISareproducedinthespatialdomain,butopticalapplicationsareintheFourierdomain.TraditionalcompressionmethodscanonlyprotectthevisualqualityofinterferometerdatainthespatialdomainbutignorethedistortionintheFourierdomain.TherelationbetweenthedistortionintheFourierdomainandthecompressioninthespatialdomainisanalyzed.Bymathematicalproofandvalidationwithexperiments,therelationbetweenspatialandFourierdomainsisdiscovered,andthesignificanceintheFourierdomainismoreimportantasopticalpathdifference(OPD)increasinginthespatialdomain.Basedonthisrelation,anovelcodingschemeisproposed,whichcancompressdatainthespatialdomainwhilereducingthedistortionintheFourierdomain.Inthisscheme,thebitstreamofthesetpartitioninginhierarchicaltrees(SPIHT)istruncatedbyadaptivelyliftingrate-distortionslopesaccordingtotheprioritiesofOPDbasedonrate-distortionoptimizationtheory.ExperimentalresultsshowthattheproposedmethodcanprovidebetterprotectionofspectrumcurvesintheFourierdomainwhilemaintainingacomparablevisualqualityinthespatialdomain.
