Thispaperdiscussestheapplicationsofahybridmulti-agentframeworkforself-healingapplicationsinanintelligentsmartgridsystemfollowingcatastrophicdisturbancessuchaslossofgeneratorsorduringsystemfault.Theproposedhybridmulti-agentframeworkisahybridofbothcentralizedanddecentralizedschemetoallowdistributedintelligentagentinthesmartgridsystemtomakefastlocaldecisionwhileallowingtheslowercentralcontrollertojudgetheeffectivenessofthedecisionmadebythelocalagentsandtosuggestmoreoptimalsolutions.
