摘要
ATime-domainHigher-OrderBoundaryElementMethod(THOBEM)isdevelopedforsimulatingwave-currentinteractionswith3-Dfloatingbodies.ThroughaTaylorseriesexpansionandaperturbationprocedure,themodelisformulatedtothefirst-orderinthewavesteepnessandinthecurrentvelocity,respectively.Theboundaryvalueproblemisdecomposedintoasteadydouble-bodyflowproblemandanunsteadywaveproblem.Higher-orderboundaryintegralequationmethodsarethenusedtosolvetheproposedproblemswithafourth-orderRunge-Kuttamethodforthetimemarching.Anartificialdampinglayerisadoptedtodissipatethescatteringwaves.Differentfromtheothertime-domainnumericalmodels,whichareoftenfocusedonthewave-currentinteractionwithrestrainedbodies,thepresentmodeldealswithafloatinghemisphere.Thenumericalresultsofwaveforces,waverun-upandbodyresponseareallinacloseagreementwiththoseobtainedbyfrequency-domainmethods.Theproposednumericalmodelisfurtherappliedtoinvestigatewave-currentinteractionswithafloatingbodyofcomplicatedgeometry.Inthiswork,theregularandfocusedwavecombinedwithcurrentinteractingwithatruss-sparplatformisinvestigated.
