摘要 ThesymbioticrelationshipbetweentheChineseandU.S.economiesdeterminesthatthetwocountrieshavemutualstrategicneeds.Foralongtime,theUnitedStateshasplayedadominantroleinthisrelationship,yetithasalsobeendevelopinginadirectionfavorabletoChina.Thecurrentfinancialcrisishasacceleratedthedevelopmentofthistrend,whichgivesChinamoresayandmakestheUnitedStatesgiveupitspreviousdominantpostureandseektobuildamorereliableandnewpatternofrelationshipinwhichthetwoareinthesameboat.
