摘要
Surfacemodificationofpolypropylenemembranebyargon(Ar)plasma-inducedgraftpolymerizationwithhydrophilicn,onomer[acrylicacid(AA)inthiswork]wasinvestigated.ItwasfoundthatboththedistanceofthemembranefromtheArplasmacenterandtheplasmapowerhadastronginfluenceonthesurfacemodification,hydrophilicityandgraftyield(GY)ofthetreatedmembrane.Resultssuggestthatremoteplasmatreatmentwithapropersampleposition,plasmapowerandgraftpolymerizationleadstoamembranesurfacewithnotonlylessdamage,bntalsomorepermanenthydrophilicity,thandirectplasmatreatmentdoes.Byanalyzingthemorphologyandthechemicalcompositionofthemembranesurfacebyscanningelectronmicroscopy(SEM)andX-rayphotoelectronspectroscopy(XPS),aswellasFouriertransforminfraredattenuatedtotalreflectionspectroscopy(FTIR-ATR)respectively,apossiblemechanismwastentativelyrevealed.
