摘要
Digitalelevationmodel(DEM)canbegeneratedbyinterferometricsyntheticapertureradar(InSAR).Inthispaper,theinterferometricprocessingandanalysesarecarriedoutforDamxung-YangbajainareainTibet,usingapairofEuroperemote-sensingsatellite(ERS)-1/2tandemSARimagesacquiredon6and7April1996.AportionoftheIn-SAR-derivedDEMisselectedandcomparedwiththe1:50000DEMtodeterminetheprecisionoftheInSAR-derivedDEM.Thecomparisonindicatesthattherootmeansquarederrors(RMSE),whichareusedtoevaluateerror,areabout35,60,10,and15minthestudiedarea,mountainousarea,basinareaandnear-faultarea,respectively,suggestingthatobviouserrorsaremainlyinmountainousarea.Besides,thelimitationofInSARtechnologytogenerateDEMisanalyzed.OurinvestigationshowsthatInSARisaneffectivetoolingeodesyandanimportantcomplementtofieldsurveyinginsomedangerousareas.
