摘要
Itispresentedthatthereisapumpingeffectatitsbaseinthedevelopmentprocessofacumulus.Inthestrongeststageofcumulusdevelopment,thepumpingismainlyproducedbythebuoyanceatthebase,andmaybetakenasthefirstapproximationoftheascendingspeedatthebase.Theresultsofnumericalcalculationsandsimulationsoffourobservedradarechoesshowthatasthefirstapproximation,theheightofair-masscumulusmaybesimulatedbyHaltinermodelintheabsenceofob-servedascendingspeedsatthebase,andtheHaltinermodelcanbecharacterizedbythesensitivityofthecumulusdevelopmenttothevirtualtemperatureexcessoverenvironmentatthebase.
