摘要
Althoughstimulusfrequencyotoacousticemissions(SFOAEs)havebeenusedasanon-invasivemeasureofcochlearmechanics,clinicalandexperimentalapplicationofSFOAEshasbeenlimitedbydifficultiesinaccuratelyderivingquantitativeinformationfromsoundpressuremeasuredintheearcanal.Inthisstudy,anovelsignalprocessingmethodformulticomponentanalysis(MCA)wasusedtomeasuretheamplitudeanddelayoftheSFOAE.Thisreportshowsthedelay-frequencydistributionoftheSFOAEmeasuredfromthehumanear.AlowlevelacousticalsuppressorneartheprobetonesignificantlysuppressedtheSFOAE,stronglyindicatingthattheSFOAEwasgeneratedatcharacteristicfrequencylocations.Informationderivedfromthismethodmayrevealmoredetailsofcochlearmechanicsinthehumanear.
