摘要 Asimpleandcompactmicrostrip-fedUltraWideBand(UWB)printedmonopoleantennawithband-notchedcharacteristicisproposedinthispaper.Theantennaiscomposedofasquareringwithasmallstripbar,sothattheantennaoccupiesabout7.69GHzbandwidthcovering3.11～10.8GHzwithexpectedbandrejectionfrom5.12GHzto5.87GHz.Aquasi-omnidirectionalandquasi-sym-metricalradiationpatternisalsoobtained.Thiskindofband-notchedUWBantennarequiresnoex-ternalfiltersandthusgreatlysimplifiesthesystemdesignofUWBwirelesscommunication.
