摘要 Inlandmark-basedimageregistration,estimatingthelandmarkcorrespondenceplaysanimportantrole.Inthisletter,anovellandmarkcorrespondenceestimationtechniqueusingmeanshiftalgorithmisproposed.Imagecornerpointsaredetectedaslandmarksandmeanshiftiterationsareadoptedtofindthemostprobablecorrespondingpointpositionsintwoimages.Mutualinformationbetweenintensityoftwolocalregionsiscomputedtoeliminatemis-matchingpoints.Multi-levelestimation(MLE)techniqueisproposedtoimprovethestabilityofcorrespondingestimation.Experimentsshowthattheprecisioninlocationofcorrespondencelandmarksisexact.Theproposedtechniqueisshowntobefeasibleandrapidintheexperimentsofvariousmono-modalmedicalimages.
