Baosteel'ssteelmakinghasdevelopedgreatlyoverthelast30yearsintheareasofhotmetalpretreatment,converter,electricarcfurnace(EAF),secondaryrefining,continuouscasting,stainlesssteelandthecomprehensiveutilizationofresources.Thedevelopmentoftechnologies,suchascleansteelproduction,ruhrstahlheraeus(RH)vacuumrefining,abreakoutpredictionsystemforslabcontinuouscastingandrotarycylinderslagtreatmenthascreatedagoodenvironmentforthedevelopmentofvalue-addedproductsandthecomprehensiveutilizationofresourcesatBaosteel.ThispaperdescribesthedirectionofdevelopmentofBaosteel'ssteelmakinginthefuture.
