ARC INTERFACE CRACK IN A THREEPHASE PIEZOELECTRIC COMPOSITE CONSTITUTIVE MODEL

摘要 Anin-depthinvestigationismadeontheproblemofanarc-shapedinterfaceinsulatingcrackinathree-phaseconcentriccircularcylindricalpiezoelectriccompositeconstitutivemodel.Anexactsolutioninseriesformisderivedbyemployingthecomplexvariablemethod.Inaddition,thedistributionofphysicalquantitiessuchasstresses,strains,electricdisplacementsandelectricfieldsinthewholefieldandalongtheinterfaceisalsopresented.Explicitexpressionsforcrackopeningdisplacement,jumpinelectropotentialonthecracksurfaceandtheelectro-elasticfieldintensityfactorsatthecracktipsareobtained.Specificcalculationsdemonstratethattheconvergenceoftheseriesformsolutionissatisfactoryandthattheouterphase(compositephase)willexertasignificanteffectontheelectro-mechanicalcouplingresponseofthecompositesystem.Owingtothefactthatstressesandelectricdisplacementsstillpossessconventionalinversesquarerootsingularities,theoscillatingsingularitiesnearthecracktipunderplanestrainconditionswillbeabsentand,asaresult,nounphysicalinterpenetrationphenomenonofthetwocracksurfaceswilloccur.Inconclusion,theelasticsolutionobtainedisalsobasedonasolidphysicalfoundation.
