Numerical simulation of deep cryogenic treatment electrode tip temperature for spot welding aluminum alloy

    摘要 DeepcryogenictreatmenttechnologyofelectrodesisputforwardtoimproveelectrodelifeofresistancespotweldingofaluminumalloyLF2.Deepcryogenictreatmentmakeselectrodelifeforspotweldingaluminumalloyimprove.Thespecificresistivityofthedeepcryogenictreatmentelectrodesistestedandexperimentalresultsshowthatspecificresistivityisdecreasedsharply.ThetemperaturefieldandtheinfluenceofdeepcryogenictreatmentontheelectrodetiptemperatureduringspotweldingaluminiumalloyisstudiedbynumericalsimulationmethodwiththesoftwareANSYS.Theaxisymmetricfiniteelementmodelofmechanical,thermalandelectricalcoupledanalysisofspotweldingprocessisdeveloped.Thenumericalsimulationresultsshowthattheinfluenceofdeepcryogenictreatmentonelectrodetiptemperatureisverylarge.
