AtthefootoftheGreatWallnorthwestofBeijing,thereisaspecialprison,calledYan-qingPrison.Itisspecial,becauseitgathersalltheimprisonedold,sickandhandicappedoffendersintheBeijingareaforthepurposeoffacilitatingmanagement.Aprisonwardensaidthattherearemorethan1,100inmatesintheprison.Amongthemmorethan900areaged,sickandhandicappedandmorethan200able-bodiedinmatevolunteerswhoundertakethetasksoftakingcareofthem,cooking,cleaningandotherodd-jobsthattheotherinmatesareunabletodo.
