ObjectiveToobservetheeffectofclappingacupointonhyperosteogenyoflumbarvertebra.MethodsNinety-eightcaseswererandomlydividedinto65casestreatedbyclappingAshipointintreatmentgroupand33casestreatedbysimpleacupunctureincontrolgroup.ResultsAmong65casesintreatmentgroup,52caseswerecuredand13caseswerenotcured;of33casesincontrolgroup,19caseswerecuredand14caseswerenotcured,andtherehadsignificantdifferenceincureratebetweenthetwogroups,x2=5.51,P＜0.05.ConclusionTreatmentofhyperosteogenybyclappingacupointwasbetterthansimpleacupuncturetherapy.
