TheSeptember11terroristattacksandtheconsequentU.S.actionsonterrorismaswellasitsadjustmentofglobalstrategyhaveexertedanin-depthinfluenceoninternationalandregionalsecuritystructure.AstheneighboringregionofAfghanistan--thetargetstateofAmericanwaronterror,itismoredifficultforSouthAsiatokeepalooffromtheaffairs.GreaterchangeshavetakenplaceinsecuritysituationintheregionandinWashington'scountermeasuresaswell.
