摘要
Theincreasingusageofmultimediaobjects,suchasRSimages,scannedphotographs,videorecordings,textsandvoiceinformation,demandsanefficientmethodtoorganizeenormousinformation(Taylor,1996).Intwoyears,thesatelliteremotesensingindustrywillprovidegeographicinformationsystem(GIS)userswithasignificantnewtooltocreatebase_mapandupdatetheirGISdatabaseswithdetailedinformation.Thistoolwillbemoreandmoreusefulwhenthesatelliteimagerywith1mspatialresolutionisused(Kevin,1996). Hypermediatechniqueisfrequentlyusedtodealwithdifferentmedia,andtoorganizethediverseandinnumerabledataincomputerswithverylimitedCPUspeedandmemory.ThetechniquehasbeendemonstratedtobeanefficientwayforprocessingalargeamountofRSimagedata. Inthispaperwepresentthehypermediadatamodel,whichisbasedonRSimageinGIS.Usingthemodelconcept,wecanhandlealargeamountofRSimagedataefficientlywithverylimitedcomputingpower.Wehavedevelopedthemodelwiththreekindsofnodes:interiornode,physicalnodeandcomplexnodetoorganizetheinfinityimage.
