A Computational Model for Velocity Separation in Shallow Sea

    摘要 Basedonthehydrodynamicalfeatureandthetheoreticalvelocityprofilesoftidalflowandwind-inducedflowinshal-lowsea,acomputationalmodelisestablishedforthefirsttime,whichcanseparateobservedvelocityintotidalvelocityandwind-inducedvelocitybyuseoftheleastsquaremethod.Withthemodel,notonlythesurfacevelocitiesoftidalflowandwind-inducedflowareobtained,butalsothebedroughnessheightisdeterminedandthewindvelocityabovethewa-tersurfaceisestimated.Forverificationofthemodel,theobservedvelocityintheYellowRiverEstuaryandthelaborato-rytestisseparated,thenitisappliedtotheYangtzeRiverEstuary.Alltheresultsaresatisfactory.Theresearchresultsshowthatthemodelissimpleinmethod,feasibleinprocessandreasonableinresult.Themodelisavalidapproachtoanalysisandcomputationoffielddata,andcanbeappliedtoseparatetheobservedvelocityinshallowsea;atthesametime,reasonableboundaryconditionsofthesurfaceandbottomcanbeobtainedfortwo-andthree-dimensionalnumericalsimulation.
