摘要 Greysequencegenerationcandrawoutanddevelopimpliedrulesoftheoriginaldata.Differentkindsofgenerationmethodsweresummarizedandclassifiedintotwotypes:partialgenerationandwholegeneration.Theaveragegenerationandstepwiseratiogenerationisdisussed,thepreferencegenerationisregardasaspecialcaseofproportionaldivisionbasedonanalysisgeometrictheory,proposeanideaofusingconcaveandconvexstatusofdiscretedatatodeterminethegenerationcoefficient.Basedonthestepwiseandsmoothratiogeneration,atendencyaveragegenerationisproposedandhaveacomparisonusingthedataprovidedinpaperslistedinthereferences.Thecomparisonprovesthatthenewgenerationisbetterthantheothertwogenerationsanderrorsareobviouslyreduced.
