摘要 Inthispaper,theopportunitiesandchallengeswhichfutureapplicationsbasedonnanoparticlesoffertoengineersaredescribed.Newhigh-addedvalueproductsinduceustorethinkwaystocontrolnanoparticledesignandhandling.Severalchallengesaredescribedandtypicalsolutionsaregiven:(1)findingrelevantengineeringtasksoutsidetraditionalprocessindustry;(2)theimportanceofmixingreactants;(3)obtainingmonodisperseparticles;(4)gainingefficientcontrolviaelectricforcesand(5)developingmulti-stepprocesseswhichallowmorecontroloverparticleproperties.
