摘要 Thispaperreports,forthefirsttime,thatArchaerhodopsin-4(AR4)couldbereconstitutedintophospholipidliposomesbyself-assembly.AR4isanewmembraneproteinisolatedfromhalobacteriaH.sp.xz515inasaltlakeofTibet,China.Thisisabacteriorhodopsin(bR)likeprotein,functionasalight-drivenprotonpump.ExperimentalmeasurementsverifiedthatsimilartobR,ARnotonlyremainsitsbiologicalactivityinpmteoliposome,butalsokeepsapreferredorientationinself-assembly.
