Theinstalledcapacityofhydropowerstationsrisesrapidly,andinthewholecountry800countiesaremainlydependingontheelectricpowerfromsmallhydropowerstationsandtheirpowergrids.Bytheendof2000,theinstalledcapacityofhydropowerfromthewaterresourcesadministrativebodieshadamountedto31.1GW,andtheannualgenerationreached94.5billionkWh.
