SnO2preparedwiththesol-geltechniqueatdifferenttemperatureswasusedasananodematerialofthelithium-ionbattery.Weobtainedthequalititaverelationshipbetweentheelectrochemicalperformanceoftinoxideanodematerialandeachofitscarboncomponent,particlesize,structureandsurfacemorphologyindetail.ItwasfoundthatthebestelectrochemicalperformancecanbereachedbycontrollingthephysicalcharacteristicsofSnO2,whichwasaffectedgreatlybythetreatmenttemperature.TheSnO2obtainedat600℃waspure.Whenitwasusedastheanodematerialofthelithium-ionbattery,itdemonstratedahighinitialspecificcapacityof770mA·h/g.
