摘要 NF-κBisatranscriptionfactorofeukaryote,fivemembersofwhosefamilyinmammalsandthreeindrosophila.TranscriptionfactorsoftheNF-κfamilyareactivatedinresponsetosignalsthatleadtocellgrowth,differentiation,apoptosisandotherevents.NF-κBtakespartinexpressionofnumerouscytokinesandadhesionmoleculeswhicharecriticalelementsinvolvedintheregulationofimmuneresponses.Inthisreview,wefocusonourcurrentunderstandingofNF-κBsignalpathwayanditsroleintheinnateandadaptiveimmuneresponsesinwhichthesetranscriptionfactorshaveakeyregulatoryfunction.Furthermorewereviewwhatiscurrentlyknownabouttheireffectsassociatedwithapoptosis.Cellular&MolecularImmunology.2004;1(5):343-350.
