摘要 Intheautomationofidentificationoflandscapefeaturesthevaguenessarisesfromthefactthattheattributesandparametersthatmakeupalandscapevaryoverspaceandscale.Inmostofexistingstudies,thesetwokindsofvaguenessarestudiedseparately.Thispaperinvestigatestheircombinationinidentificationofcoastlandscapeunits.Fuzzysettheoryisusedtodescribethevaguenessofgeomorphicfeaturesduetothecontinuityinspace.Thevaguenessresultedfromthescaleofmeasurementisevaluatedbystatisticindicators.Thedifferencesoffuzzyobjectsderivedfromdataatdifferingresolutions(insizefrom3×3cellsto25×25cells)arestudiedinordertoexaminethesehigher-orderuncertainties.
