摘要 Thesuccinylationofcornstarchbyslurryreactionhasbeenstudiedusingsodiumhydroxideascatalyst.SeveralreactionparametersafJectingthesuccinylationwereinvestigatedincludingtheconcentrationofstarchinwater,theratioofsuccinicanhydridetostarch,thereactiontimeandthereactiontemperature.Thefavorableconditionsforanintermediatedegreeofsubstitution(DS)andreasonablyhighreactionefficiency(RE)arepH8.5～9.0,50%starchbyweighttowater,succinicanhydridetostarchI/I(w/w),reactiontime4h,reactiontemperature30℃Undertheseconditions,theDSof0.45andREof28%wereachieved.Theadditionofanadequateamountofcrosslinkingagentimpartedstarchsuccinatewaterabsorbency.
