Applying the disciplinary relation matrix to multidisciplinary design optimization modeling and solving

    摘要 Anewefficientcouplingrelationshipdescriptionmethodhasbeendevelopedtoprovideanautomatedandvisualizedwaytomultidisciplinarydesignoptimization(MDO)modelingandsolving.Thedisciplinaryrelationmatrix(DRM)isproposedtodescribethecouplingrelationshipaccordingtodisciplinaryinput/outputvariables,andtheMDOdefinitionhasbeenreformulatedtoadoptthenewinterfaces.Basedonthese,auniversalMDOsolvingprocedureisproposedtoestablishanautomatedandefficientwayforMDOmodelingandsolving.Throughasimpleandconvenientinitialconfiguration,MDOproblemscanbesolvedusinganyofavailableMDOarchitectureswithnofurthereffort.SeveralexamplesareusedtoverifytheproposedMDOmodelingandsolvingprocess.ResultshowsthattheDRMmethodhastheabilitytosimplifyandautomatetheMDOprocedure,andtherelatedMDOframeworkcanevaluatetheMDOproblemautomaticallyandefficiently.
