Angular Distribution of Element Contents in Tree Rings and the Environmental Information

    摘要 ElementcontentsoftreeringsandsoilsneartreerootscollectedfromDeodarcedar(Cedrusdeodara(Roxb.)G.Don)andMassonpine(Pinusmassonianalamb).weredeterminedtostudytherelationshipbetweentheangulardistributionofelementcontentsintreeringsandtheenvironmentalinformation.Thechemicalcompositionandpropertiesofsoilareverymuchcmoplicated,whichleadstothenon-uniformdistributionoftheelementcontentsintreerings.Thestatisticalmulti-varialberegressionmethodwasusedtogettheinformationofthetree-centereddistributionofelementcontentsintheenvironment(soil),(C'),C'(Z,θj),fromthedistribtuionofelementcontentsintreerings(C),C(Z,θi),whichdependsontheplaneazimuthangle(θi),i.e.,C=C(Z,θi),whereZistheatomicnumberoftheelement,withasatisfactoryresultthoughthisstudyisonlyaprimaryone.
