Inmodernhighenergyandastrophysicsexperimentsthevarietyofuserrequirementsandthecomplexityoftheproblemdomainofteninvolvethecollaborationofseveralsoftwareframeworks,anddifferentcomponentsareresponsibleforprovidingthefunctionalitiesrelatedtoeachdomain.Forinstance,acommonusecaseconsistsinstudyingthephysicseffectsandthedetectorperformance,resultingfromprimaryevents,inagivendetectorconfiguration,toevaluatethephysicsreachoftheexperimentoroptimisethedetectordesign,Suchastudytypicallyinvolvesvariouscomponents:simulation,Visualisation,Analysisand(interactive)UserInterface.Wefocusonthedesignaspectsofthecollaborationoftheseframeworksandonthetechnologiesthathelptosimplifythecomplexprocessofsoftwaredesign.
