摘要
TheDepUty(dependenciesutility)canbeclassifiedasaprojectandprocessmanagementtool.ThemaingoalofDepUtyistoassistbymeansofsourcecodeanalysisandgraphicalrepresentationusingUML,inunderstandingdependenciesofsub-systemsandpackagesinCMSobjectOrientedsoftware,tounderstandarchitecturealstructure,andtoschedulecodereleaseinmodularisedintegration.Italsoallowsanew-comertomoreeasilyunderstandtheglobalstructure,ofCMSsoftware,andtovoidcirculardependenciesup-frontorre-factorthecode,incaseitwasalreadytooclosetotheedgeofnon-maintainability.WewilldiscussthevariousviewsDepUtyprovidestoanalysepackagedependenciesandillustrateboththemetricsandstylecheckingfacilitiesitprovides.
