摘要 TheJointControlsProject(JCOP)isacollaborationbetweenCERNandthefourLHCexperimentstofindandimplementcommonsolutionsfortheircontrolandmonitoringsystems.AspartofthisprojectandArchitectureWorkingGroupwassetupinordertostudytherequirementsanddeviseanarchitecturalmodelthatwouldsuitthefourexperiments.Manyissueswerestudiedbythisworkinggroup:Alarmhandling,AccessControl,HierarchicalControl,etc.Thispaperwillreportonthespecificissueofhierarchicalcontrolandinparticularpartitioning,automationanderrorrecovery.
