摘要 ManganesenodulesinareasCPandCCofthecentralPacificarerichinREE.Comparativelyspeaking,theREEcontentsofnodulesinareaCParehihgerthanthoseinareaCC;andtheREEcontentsofnodulesfromseamountsarehigherthanthoseofnodulesfromsea-floorplainsandhills.Withinthenodules,theREEshowazonaldistribution.TheREEdistributionpatternsofthenodulesaresimilartothoseofthesedimentsandhaveamirrorimagerelationshipwiththoseoftheseawater.TrivalentREEwerenotobviouslydifferenti-atedwhentheyenteredintothenodulesfromtheseawater.AmajorfactorcausingthedifferenceofREEabundancesbetweennodulesandsedimentsistheredoxconditions.TheredoxintensityoftheoceanfloorofthePacificiscontrolledmainlybyAntarcticBottomWat-er(AABW),Theiron-bearingfaciesinthenodulesisthemaincarrierofREE.
